About the Role:
Join us as an Oncology Staff Nurse at Pacific OneHealth, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to oncology patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to oncology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and designated cancer treatments.
- Monitor patients for any treatment-related side effects and adverse reactions.
- Assess health status, documenting vital signs accurately.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care.
- Manage IV therapy, central lines, and other vascular access devices.
- Maintain precise patient records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and oncology care protocols.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A BSc Nursing degree.
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong patient communication skills, problem-solving proficiency, and clinical decision-making abilities.
