About the Role: As a Consultant Microbiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of the microbiology department, directly impacting patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
What You'll Be Doing: - Directly responsible for routine working of Microbiology including Mycobacteriology, Serology & Molecular Biology in coordination with the team of Consultants. - Ensure timely delivery of reports according to the defined and promised TAT (Turn Around Time). - Provide effective leadership of the section in accordance with institutional assignment of responsibilities. - Implement an effective quality management program for the section. - Oversee the administration of the microbiology lab, including maintenance of equipment and inventory, and personnel management assisted by senior technical staff.
