Your Core Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret laboratory tests, including histopathology, cytology, hematology, microbiology, and clinical biochemistry.
- Provide detailed diagnostic reports for surgical biopsies, autopsies, and other pathological samples.
- Analyze blood smears, bone marrow aspirates, and other specimens for hematological disorders.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the pathology laboratory, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.
- Ensure the accurate functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Review and validate test results to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Provide diagnostic insights to clinicians and surgeons to support patient management and treatment decisions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings such as tumor boards to discuss complex cases.
- Advise on the selection and interpretation of laboratory tests.
