About the Role:
Join Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH) as a Consultant Neurosurgery in Idukki, Kerala, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care through advanced neurosurgical techniques.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan and perform neurosurgical procedures tailored to clinical expertise and patient needs.
- Manage a variety of serious conditions including brain tumors, spinal disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Provide emergency neurosurgical care for trauma and other urgent conditions.
- Ensure pre-operative and post-operative care for patients, monitoring them for any complications.
- Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
- Counsel patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and surgical risks.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
