About the Role:
Join Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH) as a Consultant Neurology in Idukki, Kerala. This position is pivotal in providing exceptional neurological care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, migraine, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and neuropathy.
- Conduct neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic investigations including MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans involving medications, therapies, and appropriate specialist referrals.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient neurological consultations and monitor patients’ clinical progress.
- Manage neurological emergencies and coordinate timely care with emergency, ICU, and other medical teams.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
