What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas.
- Evaluate and manage conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and hepatitis.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures like endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsy.
- Prescribe medications and suggest dietary and lifestyle modifications.
- Manage chronic digestive disorders and monitor patient progress.
- Conduct therapeutic procedures like polyp removal and bleeding control.
