About the Role:
Join Valluvanad Hospital as a Consultant in Transfusion Medicine, where you will play a vital role in patient care through effective blood management.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee blood bank operations including donor selection, blood collection, testing, processing, and storage.
- Ensure safe and appropriate transfusion practices for patients.
- Perform compatibility testing, cross-matching, and antibody screening.
- Monitor and manage blood component preparation such as PRBC, platelets, FFP, and cryoprecipitate.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- An MD in Transfusion Medicine.
- Strong communication and diagnostic skills.
