About the Role: Join our team as an SICU Staff Nurse at Geetanjali Institute of Medical Sciences, where you will provide critical care to post-operative and severely ill patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide intensive nursing care to post-operative and critically ill surgical patients.
- Monitor vital signs, ECG, oxygen saturation, CVP, and other hemodynamic parameters.
- Administer IV medications, fluids, blood products, and pain management as prescribed.
- Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, suction devices, and other life-support equipment.
- Observe for post-surgical complications such as bleeding, infection, or respiratory distress.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Assist surgeons and intensivists during emergency procedures and bedside interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
