About the Role: Join the Geetanjali Institute of Medical Sciences as an HDU Staff Nurse and play a pivotal role in patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring but not full ICU support.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, ECG, and patient condition regularly.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during procedures and patient assessments.
- Observe for early signs of patient deterioration and escalate to ICU if required.
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols in the HDU.
- Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans and recovery process.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and update patient records timely.
