About the Role:
Join Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) as an Infection Control Nurse in Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh, and contribute to essential healthcare practices.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Implement and monitor the Hospital Infection Control Program.
- Conduct HAI surveillance (CAUTI, CLABSI, SSI, VAP, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to hand hygiene & PPE protocols.
- Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and CSSD practices.
- Supervise biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
- Conduct infection control audits & rounds.
- Train healthcare staff on infection prevention guidelines.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and prepare root cause analysis.
- Maintain infection control documentation as per NABH/JCI.
- Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, OT, ICU, and housekeeping.
- Assist Infection Control Officer & Committee meetings.
