About the Role: As a Registered Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Dispense prescribed medications accurately and provide proper dosage instructions to patients. - Review prescriptions for errors, interactions, and ensure compliance with legal and medical standards. - Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage requirements. - Maintain pharmacy inventory, check stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment. - Manage sale of OTC (over-the-counter) medicines and guide patients responsibly. - Prepare and maintain accurate records of prescriptions, bills, and controlled drugs. - Ensure proper storage of medicines, maintaining temperature and safety protocols. - Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff for any medication-related clarifications.
