About the Role: As a Pharmacist/Assistant Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Dispense prescribed medications accurately and ensure correct dosage and labeling. - Provide patients with guidance on the proper use of medicines and possible side effects. - Maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and checking pharmaceutical supplies. - Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards. - Prepare and maintain accurate patient medication and prescription records. - Support the pharmacist in compounding, packaging, and dispensing of medications. - Monitor stock expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines. - Assist in managing billing, insurance claims, and pharmacy software systems. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
