Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Surgical Gastroenterology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing patients with gastrointestinal disorders requiring surgical intervention.
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and manage patients requiring surgical intervention for gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. - Conduct pre-operative assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests. - Plan and perform GI surgeries such as resections, endoscopic procedures, and laparoscopic surgeries. - Monitor patients’ post-operative progress and manage complications effectively. - Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care. - Prescribe medications, diet plans, and rehabilitation programs for optimal recovery. - Maintain accurate surgical records, patient charts, and documentation. - Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
