About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Cardiac Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Effective history taking and examination to stratify risk - Explain the risk to the patient with alternatives - Order relevant investigations - Write pre-operative anesthesia orders - Interpretation of hemodynamic data - Understanding pressure-based and invasive hemodynamic parameters - Insertion of arterial line and central line - Administer spinal anesthesia and epidural blocks - Evaluate airway and assess the need for intervention - Plan the anesthesia technique and manage airway modalities - Use of muscle relaxants, reversal agents, and sedatives - Assess the patient for monitoring and drug initiation - Fresher can also apply
