About the Role: As a Consultant - Plastic Surgeon, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients through surgical and non-surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform invasive surgeries to correct physical deformities in patients. - Administer non-surgical treatments to enhance outward beauty. - Synthesize skin grafts from integral or obtain them from recipient/donor. - Perform microsurgery to transfer tissues to reconstruction sites. - Examine and diagnose patients to identify abnormalities and determine suitable treatment courses. - Ensure compliance with established surgical techniques during plastic surgery. - Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, assistants, and residents. - Examine operating room and medical instruments to ensure cleanliness and sterility. - Confer with other plastic surgeons and medical professionals to exchange ideas. - Use photographs and verbal descriptions to identify patients' visual expectations. - Inject patients with Botox to reduce muscle activity and lessen the appearance of facial wrinkles. - Educate patients on procedure risks and post-operative requirements. - Follow up on patients after surgery to track healing processes. - Install prosthetic devices on patients to restore appearance.
