About the Role: As a Duty Doctor at Shalby Hospital, you will play a crucial role in patient care and management, ensuring that all medical protocols are followed diligently.
What You'll Be Doing: - Performing rounds as per the instructions from the treating consultants. - Entering exact details observed during rounds in the IPD file and informing consultants for further action. - Following strict leave guidelines as provided by the institution. - Preparing admission and discharge notes as per the consultants' instructions in a timely manner. - Taking calls as per the rota prepared by the HOD. - Handing over exact information observed and advised to the patient before leaving to the taking over resident doctor. - Attending referred cases by visiting and honorary consultants. - Adhering to guidelines provided by the hospital. - Completing any other assignments given by the consultant Department Co-ordinator.
