About the Role: As an Attending Consultant - Anaesthesia Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Review the Pre-anesthetic assessment and prepare patients. - Discuss any unusual characteristics with consultants/Sr. Consultants. - Provide clinical anesthesia services in the operation theatre under supervision. - Ensure post-anesthetic care, including monitoring and pain relief. - Supervise paramedical staff in the OT and ICU. - Participate in acute resuscitation services as part of the CODE BLUE team. - Attend regular departmental and hospital meetings for news dissemination. - Engage in peer review and quality improvement processes.
