About the Role: As a Consultant-Histo Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases through the examination of tissue samples, contributing significantly to patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Selecting the most appropriate tissue samples for analysis. - Dissecting and examining resected tissue using biopsies and aspirated tissue. - Analyzing tissue using accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining. - Spending time in the mortuaries to perform autopsies. - Handling cell and tissue samples with meticulous care to prevent infection.
