About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a reputed 200-bed super-speciality hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases and related conditions.
- Perform interventional cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and angioplasty (PCI).
- Manage patients with acute coronary syndromes, myocardial infarction, and other cardiac emergencies.
- Provide consultation and treatment for coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Evaluate patients through clinical examinations and interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and other relevant cardiac investigations.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient cardiology cases.
- Respond to cardiac emergencies and provide timely clinical intervention.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, emergency physicians, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patients before and after interventional procedures and manage potential complications.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnoses, procedures, treatment options, and preventive cardiac care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Hands-on experience in interventional cardiology procedures, particularly coronary angiography and angioplasty.
- Valid medical registration as applicable.
- Strong clinical judgment and expertise in managing cardiac emergencies.
- Excellent communication, patient-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
