Your Core Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose surgical conditions. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies and laboratory tests. - Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis and patient's medical history. - Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including appendectomy, hernia repair, and cholecystectomy. - Provide preoperative and postoperative care, monitoring patients for complications. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary medical team, including anesthesiologists and nurses. - Respond to emergency surgical cases and trauma situations as needed. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding surgical procedures. - Provide education and training to medical students and residents. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical processes.
