About the Role: As an Intensivist at Welcare Hospital, you will play a crucial role in managing critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU. - Provide expert consultation for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. - Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures to assess patients' status. - Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced ventilator management. - Perform critical care procedures as needed to support patient care goals. - Lead daily rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings for effective communication. - Educate and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in the ICU. - Adhere to evidence-based guidelines and quality improvement initiatives.
