About the Role: Join us as a Consultant in Critical Care where you will play a vital role in managing critically ill patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage critically ill patients in ICU, emergency, and high-dependency units.
- Assess patients, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform critical procedures including intubation, central venous access, and resuscitation.
- Monitor vital signs, ventilation, haemodynamic status, and treatment responses.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis clearly to patients and families.
- Provide appropriate counselling and emotional support to relatives.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Guide junior doctors and nursing staff in critical care practices.
- Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards.
