Senior Resident - Radiology

About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies and contributing to patient care decisions.

What You'll Be Doing: - Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine scans. - Identify and analyze abnormalities, pathologies, and anatomical variations in radiological images. - Generate comprehensive radiology reports with clear and concise descriptions of findings, differential diagnoses, and recommendations. - Collaborate with clinical teams, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to integrate radiological findings into patient management and treatment plans. - Provide consultations and recommendations based on radiological interpretations, contributing to patient care decisions. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain imaging procedures, findings, and follow-up recommendations. - Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, such as image-guided biopsies, drainages, and catheter placements. - Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance during procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines. - Participate in pre-procedure assessment, planning, and post-procedure care coordination.
