About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Ophthalmology, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive eye care and surgical interventions to patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. - Develop and implement treatment plans including medications, surgeries, and vision therapies. - Monitor patient progress and manage post-operative care. - Assist in and perform ophthalmic surgeries including cataract extraction, laser procedures, and corneal transplants. - Participate in surgical planning and patient preparation. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in clinical ophthalmology. - Conduct teaching rounds, case discussions, and skills workshops. - Contribute to educational initiatives and research activities.
