About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Psychiatry, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, ensuring their mental well-being and recovery.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments. - Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance abuse. - Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care as needed. - Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all psychiatric patients. - Prepare discharge summaries, treatment plans, and other necessary documentation. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in the psychiatry department. - Participate in teaching rounds, case discussions, and clinical presentations.
