About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care under the supervision of experienced surgeons.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform a variety of surgical procedures under the supervision of attending surgeons. - Conduct pre-operative evaluations and assessments of surgical patients. - Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for surgical patients. - Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care instructions. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all surgical patients. - Document surgical procedures, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with hospital protocols. - Supervise and mentor junior residents, medical students, and interns in the surgical department. - Participate in teaching rounds, case discussions, and surgical skills training sessions.
