About the Role: As a Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in performing advanced procedures that significantly impact patient health.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform advanced interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, and other catheter-based interventions. - Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic results. - Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Consult with patients and families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care. - Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and junior doctors. - Mentor and train junior medical staff and cardiology fellows, fostering their professional development. - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes. - Ensure a high standard of patient care by continuously monitoring and evaluating patient progress. - Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
