Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Rheumatologist at Sunrise Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
How You'll Contribute: - Evaluate and diagnose patients with symptoms of rheumatic diseases, such as joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and fatigue. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests, imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds), and joint fluid analysis. - Establish accurate diagnoses for complex rheumatic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, and gout. - Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific conditions and health needs. - Prescribe and manage medications, including disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologics, and corticosteroids. - Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. - Provide ongoing care and follow-up for patients with chronic rheumatic conditions, managing symptoms and preventing disease progression. - Conduct regular assessments of disease activity and functional status to guide treatment decisions. - Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies to improve adherence and outcomes.
