Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Emergency Duty Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients with acute conditions and emergencies.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide immediate medical care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions, injuries, or emergencies in the Emergency Department (ED). - Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of conditions, including trauma, medical emergencies, and critical illnesses. - Stabilize patients in critical conditions, ensuring life-saving interventions are promptly administered. - Manage medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, stroke, trauma, and poisoning. - Conduct thorough assessments and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition. - Make quick, accurate decisions regarding the urgency of patient needs and necessary interventions. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, ECGs, lab tests, and imaging studies to aid in the diagnosis. - Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments as required for acute medical management. - Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound suturing, fracture immobilization, and incision and drainage.
