Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an Onco Surgeon at Shrimati Jayaben Mody Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cancer patients through advanced surgical techniques.
How You'll Contribute: - Perform surgical procedures to diagnose, stage, and treat cancer. - Plan and execute tumor resection surgeries with minimal impact on surrounding tissues. - Collaborate with pathologists to evaluate biopsies and surgical specimens. - Evaluate patients through physical examinations, diagnostic imaging, and lab tests to determine treatment plans. - Discuss treatment options with patients, including surgical risks and benefits. - Provide pre-operative and post-operative counseling to patients and their families. - Work closely with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans. - Participate in tumor board meetings to review cases and decide on the best treatment approaches. - Coordinate with radiation and medical oncologists for comprehensive cancer management.
