About the Role: As an ICU Resident Doctor, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
What You'll Be Doing: - Continuously monitor critically ill patients for changes in condition. - Assess patient vitals, interpret diagnostic results, and escalate abnormalities to the ICU Intensivist. - Ensure timely administration of medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed. - Respond promptly to acute medical emergencies in the ICU. - Assist in resuscitation efforts, including CPR and advanced cardiac life support. - Manage airway emergencies, initiate ventilatory support, and assist in invasive procedures. - Perform routine ICU procedures such as venous cannulation, arterial blood gas sampling, and catheterization. - Assist in or independently perform emergency procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and lumbar puncture under supervision.
