Make a Difference in Patient Care: As an ICU Resident Doctor, you will play a crucial role in the management and care of critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay in the ICU.
How You'll Contribute: - Perform regular assessments of ICU patients, including physical examinations and review of vital signs, test results, and clinical progress. - Monitor and manage life-support systems such as ventilators, dialysis, and infusion pumps. - Administer prescribed medications, fluids, and treatments as directed by the intensivist or consulting physician. - Identify and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, or hemodynamic instability. - Perform basic and advanced life-support measures in emergencies. - Stabilize patients for further management by the ICU team. - Insertion of intravenous lines, arterial lines, and central venous catheters. - Intubation and management of mechanical ventilation. - Thoracentesis, paracentesis, and lumbar punctures under supervision, if required.
