How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, including kidneys, bladder, and prostate. - Perform surgical procedures such as nephrectomy, cystectomy, prostatectomy, and minimally invasive urological surgeries. - Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients undergoing urological surgery. - Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history review, physical exams, and diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, lab tests). - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, radiologists, and nurses, to create treatment plans for complex cases. - Counsel patients and their families about treatment options, potential risks, and post-surgery recovery processes. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in urological surgery techniques, technologies, and treatments. - Manage patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes. - Participate in research and clinical trials to contribute to advancements in urology and surgical practices. - Educate medical students, residents, and junior staff on urological surgery techniques and patient care practices.
