About the Role: As a Consultant in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions, including heart diseases, arrhythmias, and hypertension. - Conduct physical exams, review medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiograms, and stress tests. - Develop individualized treatment plans, which may include medication, lifestyle changes, or procedures like angioplasty. - Perform non-invasive procedures like echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. - Educate patients and families on heart health, prevention, and post-treatment care. - Monitor the progress of patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and technologies in cardiology. - Provide emergency care for cardiac patients, including resuscitation and stabilization in acute situations.
