About the Role: As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will lead the evaluation and management of patients with advanced cardiovascular conditions, making a significant impact on patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Lead the evaluation and management of patients with advanced or complex cardiovascular conditions. - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. - Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological management, lifestyle advice, and interventional procedures. - Perform or supervise invasive cardiac procedures such as coronary angioplasty, stent placement, or pacemaker insertion. - Provide expert consultations for referred cases from other physicians or junior cardiologists. - Offer second opinions for complex cases, helping to determine appropriate treatment strategies and interventions. - Guide decision-making in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding patient care.
