About the Role: As an Onco Surgeon specializing in breast cancer, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients, significantly impacting their lives.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and assess breast cancer cases through clinical evaluations, imaging, and biopsy results. - Perform breast cancer surgeries, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and axillary lymph node dissection. - Work with reconstructive surgeons to offer breast reconstruction options post-mastectomy. - Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to design personalized treatment plans. - Guide patients through preoperative and postoperative care, including recovery and follow-up. - Utilize minimally invasive and oncoplastic surgical techniques to enhance cosmetic and functional outcomes. - Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings to discuss complex breast cancer cases.
