About the Role: As a Surgical Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of cancer patients, performing surgeries to remove tumors while preserving normal function.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform surgical procedures to remove cancerous tumors and affected tissues. - Assess patients through physical examinations and diagnostic imaging. - Collaborate with oncologists to develop personalized treatment plans. - Conduct minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries. - Ensure preoperative and postoperative care, monitoring recovery and managing complications. - Stay updated on advancements in oncologic surgery and participate in clinical trials. - Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options. - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols.
