About the Role: As a Cardiologist at Apollo Clinic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating heart-related conditions, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat diseases of the heart and cardiovascular system. - Manage conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. - Perform and interpret diagnostic tests like ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and angiography. - Develop personalized treatment plans, including medications, lifestyle changes, and surgical referrals. - Conduct interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and cardiac catheterization (if an interventional cardiologist). - Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Educate patients on heart disease prevention, diet, and exercise. - Stay updated on advancements in cardiology treatments, devices, and procedures. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
