Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Pediatric Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various pediatric cancers, ensuring the best possible outcomes for young patients.
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and treat various pediatric cancers through clinical evaluation, imaging, and laboratory tests. - Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and bone marrow transplantation. - Collaborate with pediatric surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists for integrated cancer care. - Monitor treatment responses and manage complications, including side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. - Provide supportive care, including pain management, nutritional support, and psychosocial counseling for children and their families. - Engage in tumor board discussions for treatment planning and case reviews.
