About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Gastroenterology, you will play a crucial role in managing patients with gastrointestinal disorders and contributing to their care under consultant supervision.
What You'll Be Doing: - Manage patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders. - Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., EGD, colonoscopy). - Monitor inpatients and follow up with outpatients under consultant supervision. - Evaluate and manage acute GI emergencies such as GI bleeding and liver failure. - Supervise junior residents and coordinate with nursing and support staff. - Interpret imaging, endoscopy, and lab results relevant to GI conditions. - Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates of patient records. - Participate in multidisciplinary discussions for complex GI cases.
