About the Role: As a Consultant in Radiation Oncology, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing treatment plans for cancer patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Develop and implement radiation treatment plans for cancer patients. - Evaluate patient cases and determine appropriate radiation therapy protocols. - Collaborate with surgical and medical oncologists, and multidisciplinary teams. - Monitor patient response and adjust treatment as needed. - Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation doses. - Counsel patients and families on treatment options, risks, and side effects. - Supervise radiation therapists and dosimetrists in clinical settings. - Maintain detailed patient records and adhere to documentation standards.
