About the Role:
Join our team as an Attending Consultant in Radiation Oncology, where you will play a crucial role in cancer treatment and patient care.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Evaluate cancer patients and determine appropriate radiation therapy plans.
- Review imaging studies (CT, MRI, PET-CT) and contour target volumes accurately.
- Supervise treatment planning, dose calculations, and simulation procedures.
- Monitor patients during treatment, manage side effects, and adjust plans as required.
- Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists for safe delivery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards for coordinated patient care.
- Counsel patients and families on treatment goals, risks, and outcomes.
