About the Role: As a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in treating congenital and acquired heart defects in children, making a significant impact on their lives.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform complex surgical procedures to treat congenital and acquired heart defects in children. - Evaluate pediatric patients through clinical assessment and diagnostic tests. - Develop preoperative and postoperative care plans in collaboration with cardiologists and ICU teams. - Conduct surgeries such as valve repairs, arterial switch operations, and heart transplants. - Monitor patient progress closely during recovery to manage complications. - Educate families about surgical procedures, risks, and long-term care requirements. - Maintain detailed surgical records and ensure documentation accuracy. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for comprehensive cardiac care. - Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and advancements in pediatric cardiac care.
