About the Role: As a Paediatric Cardiac Anesthetist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgeries.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgeries and procedures. - Evaluate preoperative patient conditions and assess anesthesia risks specific to congenital heart defects. - Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery to ensure patient safety. - Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and ICU teams for coordinated care. - Manage postoperative pain and complications related to anesthesia in pediatric cardiac patients. - Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses. - Ensure adherence to pediatric and cardiac anesthesia protocols and safety standards. - Provide anesthesia consultation for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
