About the Role: As a Rheumatologist at M.G.M Muthoot Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, significantly impacting patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases affecting joints, muscles, and bones. - Manage conditions like arthritis, lupus, gout, and rheumatoid disorders. - Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests such as blood tests, X-rays, and MRIs. - Develop personalized treatment plans, including medications, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes. - Perform joint injections and other non-surgical interventions for pain management. - Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and other specialists for patient care. - Educate patients about disease management, prevention, and treatment options. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to medical guidelines. - Participate in research and stay updated with advancements in rheumatology.
