Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Paediatric Critical Care Specialist, you will provide specialized care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their health and well-being during critical times.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide specialized care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. - Diagnose and treat life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and trauma. - Monitor and manage patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). - Perform critical procedures like intubation, mechanical ventilation, and central line placement. - Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. - Administer medications, fluids, and life-support interventions as needed. - Educate and counsel families on the child’s condition, treatment options, and prognosis. - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to PICU protocols. - Provide post-critical care support and transition plans for recovery.
