About the Role: As a Sr. Resident in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients, ensuring their health and well-being under expert supervision.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric patients under faculty/consultant supervision. - Manage neonatal and pediatric emergencies, routine illnesses, and follow-up care. - Assist in conducting ward rounds, specialty clinics, and neonatal intensive care (NICU/PICU) management. - Perform pediatric procedures (IV lines, lumbar punctures, resuscitation, ventilatory support, etc.) as per training and competency. - Participate in teaching activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students. - Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, and discharge summaries. - Contribute to departmental academic sessions such as seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, and CMEs. - Support research work, publications, and institutional pediatric health programs.
