About the Role: As a Consultant Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson’s, and headaches. - Conduct detailed neurological examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and imaging results. - Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatment plans tailored to patient needs. - Perform or assist in neurological procedures, including lumbar punctures and nerve conduction studies. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments based on outcomes. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, and other specialists. - Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, prevention, and rehabilitation. - Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and medical documentation. - Stay updated with latest research, treatment protocols, and advancements in neurology.
