Your Core Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the head, neck, throat, salivary glands, thyroid, and parathyroid glands.
- Perform surgical procedures such as tumor excisions, neck dissections, thyroidectomies, and reconstructive surgeries.
- Manage both benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck region, including oral, laryngeal, and oropharyngeal cancers.
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and speech therapists for multidisciplinary cancer treatment and rehabilitation.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as CT scans, MRIs, and PET scans for accurate diagnosis and surgical planning.
- Conduct minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries for improved patient outcomes.
- Provide post-operative care, including monitoring healing, functional recovery, and rehabilitation.
- Stay updated on advancements in head and neck oncology, reconstructive surgery, and voice-preserving techniques.
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, surgical risks, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications.
