As an Ophthalmologist, you will work to examine patients thoroughly and diagnose eye-related diseases and disorders, conducting comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments. You will prescribe medications, spectacles, and other appropriate treatments, manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and eye infections, and perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries as required.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and diagnose eye-related diseases and disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Prescribe medications, spectacles, and other appropriate treatments.
- Manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and eye infections.
- Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries as required.
- Monitor patient recovery and treatment outcomes.
- Counsel patients regarding eye care and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and examination reports.
- Follow ophthalmology department protocols and patient safety standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- MBBS, MS/MD/DNB Ophthalmology.
- 2 to 3 years of work experience in a clinical setting.
